Window cleaning is a job that requires specialized tools such as a squeegee or water fed pole. Both are great at removing window residue and dirt but the best option for you will depend on your personal preferences and of course the type of windows you have.
The main difference between the two window cleaning services is the speed. When using a squeegee, you’ll use significantly more physical force than when using a water fed pole.
A water fed pole is a combination of an extendable telescopic pole, suction cup or vacuum head, window cleaning fluid (in most cases the same as you would use with a traditional squeegee), and a hose. By creating an attachment between the upper and lower parts of the pole, it creates a vacuum tube that pulls debris away from the window surface.
Window cleaning with a squeegee is the traditional way of cleaning, but it’s really time consuming and can be dangerous. You have to have good balance and coordination. That’s why we recommend using a water fed pole instead to window cleaning! You just need one hand to hold the rod, and your other hand can use a long-handled squeegee for an easier window cleaning experience.
